"A quality product at a low cost. Assembles easily and quickly with just one person. The title says it all...it's a very simple and solid bed frame. I expect to sleep on it for years to come. :-)
In regard to staining: I stained mine "ebony". I thought the first coat was too light, so I added a second. But then after finishing with wiping varnish...it was too dark. The single coat, plus varnish, would have been perfect. Nothing to do with the bed itself really, just thought I'd point out how I messed up, maybe it will save someone some hassle.
