The 300 thread count cotton sateen face-fabric offers a lustrous, understated surface glow. Because all elements of the set (including the fill!) are made of 100-percent all-natural, long-staple cotton valued for its softness and texture, they are extra soft and breathable.
The cotton is woven with single-ply yarns in a 300-thread-count sateen weave for a smooth, cool feel. Lovely classical Ogee quilt pattern and mini sateen piping accents the coverlet and sham. A solid 200 thread count reverse is comfortable and elegant at the same time. Available in an array of solid colors and sizes. The set pairs well with both solid and patterned bedding. Burlington includes an oversized 92-by-96-inch full/queen duverlet and two 20-by 26-inch standard shams. "What a genius idea - a coverlet and duvet cover in one. I ordered the king size in ivory, and it's beautiful. I had wanted a duvet cover originally, since I wanted something I could wash, but down comforters are too hot for my husband in the summertime. This is a perfect compromise! We've been using it for a week or so, and I've already machine washed it with great results. It looks like a quilt, and it's not as satin-y as I was worried it would be. Just looks like a high-end cotton quilt. I love the shams, but they are a bit awkward to put on since the zipper is along the bottom and doesn't go all the way to the ends. But otherwise, this is a great product. I look forward to filling it with a duvet in the wintertime."
