"I bought this because of hot flashes at night and it works great! It does smell pretty bad at first, but I wiped it off, sprayed it with Febreeze, and let it air out during the day. The smell eventually goes away (I've had mine for a month). The pillow warms up at the end of the night, but there are cool spots that you can find in the corners. I really love this, it helps to keep me cool and fall asleep easily. My kids think it is great too. I'm going to save up to get another one since they steal mine all the time. "
